Dr. Jessica Housand (also, Housand—Weaver) is a researcher, creative writer, educator, and consultant dedicated to exploring the junctions between human behavior, technology, creativity, and design.

Her mission is to advance technologies that respect and enhance human potential—advocating for a more literate, healthy, tech-savvy, and engaged society.

Through creative writing, she explores complex psychosocial themes within larger geopolitical realities. These include how power, violence, grief, and trauma shape identity, relationships, and moral agency across generations and culture—and how resilience, love, and compassion in adversity can reveal meaningful truths about the human experience.
